I'm an October 2017 applicant becoming a citizen tomorrow. My application process in total took 15 months. I complained a lot on this forum, made tons of analysis on when i'd get my test invite, checked the tracker everyday, called CIC to escalate. I eventually gave up, tried not to think about it and just decided to wait and things eventually worked out. In hindsight i realized all that mental energy i spent worrying about my application did nothing to speed up the process.

Its tough to understand CIC and their priorities but unless there is nothing wrong with your applications, 2019 will bring you good news!

Canadian beurocracy is slow but it somehow works! Good luck!

Well, my process will definitely take more than 15 months since I still don’t have test invite at this point and it will be 15 months in 10 days

My application received in Nov 2017, passed test in April 2018 and waiting for 9 month ever since. Overall 14 months passed but no update on DM yet.
Applied from Vancouver, guess the process here is as slow as ON.
Any idea when we will receive ceremony invite?

so still it says IN PROCESS online? did u try calling them or did you request for GCMS notes?

I'm in the same boat. Vancouver is quick to review all the requirements except background check (which they claim it is being done by an external party). Hopefully we hear something soon.

Still in process. Contact IRCC multiple time, always responded “your application is in process, you will be contacted if further information needed”.
Not applied for GCMS yet, but will do tonight. My local MP also couldn’t help at all.

i would suggest ordering GCMS notes, i applied oct17 and had decision made in dec18, still no oath but atleast GCMS notes were kinda helpful for me
