Going to Canada with Work Permit

Hello...

how will I know if I can cross the boundary.. I have work permit valid for two years, yet I am going to canada but the work permit I have in the passport was issued 6 months ago...
what about the LMO?

If you have already been approved for work permit (i didn't say you HAVE the work permit because there is no such thing in passport), then you would have no issues at border. You only get a trv on passport and an approval from embassy called "Letter of intro" (the approval email that embassy sends you). The actual work permit is issued at the border / port of entry.
