Dear all,

I have done masters in my home country and now want to apply for student visa for Canada. I researched on my part and found out that universities in Canada are quite expensive compared to colleges.

I can not afford uni in Canada therefore how can I apply for student visa on what basis now? I do not want to wait and lose my time for any scholarship availibilty.

Your kind input will be greatly anticipated

Your question isn't very clear. To be approved for a study permit, you must show you have enough fund in your bank account to cover first year tuition plus an additional $10,000 for living expenses. If you don't have these funds and don't have a scholarship to cover these expenses, your study permit will not be approved.

Also there are very few scholarship for international students. They are usually limited masters and PhD students.

Because I have funds enough to support my college graduate certificate but not the uni expenses.

Is there any possibility that I may get an admission into college and get a visa then?

Sure there is a possibility but your choice of program must make sense based on your previous education and work history plus it must lead to career advancements. You also have to convince CIC that you will return to your home country after your studies. You will also have to show you have the finances to support yourself,

Hello, can you please tell which course did you complete in your home country and which course do you want to pursue there? I am in the same boat literally.

So is it a good idea to show my mastwrs and then apply for graduate certificte program or better to avoid showing masters done and get an admission on bachelors
