Going in vacation post application

Hi everyone,
I have been gathering all of my documents and ready to apply for my citizenship application on the fifth of December 2023.
However, I have planned a vacation a long time ago and then now remembered that people have spoken before about issues with leaving Canada post application.
My vacation is 6 weeks and generally it will not affect my eligibility, however, I wanted to apply as soon I became eligible with two weeks of buffer and honestly dont know how I feel about pushing it six weeks.

In short, my question will be, is there any risk of prolonged process times or unreasonable requests from IRCC if I did go on this vacation right after my application?. Given that they did mention before that there is no risk of travelling given the applicant does no violate PR status which I will not.

My vacation will probably end before I get any request to test, interview or any major step in the application.
What do the experts here think?

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my query

The posts here on the blog are between RQs, getting emails when they inform IRCC of their travel that they will prioritize applicants not in Covid restricted areas, longer processing times directly related to the travel (or so they say) etc

Most nightmare scenarios usually have more to do with people leaving Canada after applying for citizenship and potentially risking their PR residence in the process. Taking a vacation is fine.
The only real effect it has is logistical : you may have to cut the vacation short and come back for anything that requires your presence in Canada (oath ceremony, fingerprints... And dunno if the test can be done outside the country), but that's basically it.
Given that you're leaving for 6 weeks and that a significant number of applications are now finalized in 3 months, the risk to actually need to come back for something could be high, but who knows...
Your choice to be honest, if you'rw fine with the logistics and the potential additional cost, send your application and take your vacation. If not, you can always apply once back.
But in all cases, I highly doubt that you'd get a RQ or some unusually long processing just because of a vacation. After all, my own application went pretty fast, and I left Canada for a month in the middle of it and received my test invitation during that vacation.

Yea I agree that moving is different
I am only going on vacation but I can always apply after I come back
It will not affect my eligibility but its just upsetting to wait and wait and when the time comes delay it even more
