Hi,

I have applied from for PR under Skilled worker category in October 2008 and I got my AOR in Feb 2009. The letter states that since I have applied after Feb 28 2008, my case will be processed as per the new minister rule. my NOC is 0213 which falls in the ministers list. I am currently residing in USA on a H1B visa and have applied to Buffalo NY. Now my company is transfering me back to my office in India, what should I do? I have 2 options

Option 1: Do I give a change of address and state the address of my relative who stays in USA so that my application is processed faster

or

Option 2: Do I give a change of address to state my address in India

Please suggest.

Regards

i think you should give your residential address as the one in India and the postal address as your cousin's address. But you should wait for someone else to answer for sure.

If you are asked for an interview, would you be able to get a visitor's visa for sure?

Hi Rupesh,

I have a valid H1B visa till October 2010. I am assuming that this PR process must be complet by then. If there is an interview, do I need to attend or my spouse and child also need to be present. I have applied for my spouse and child along with my application.

oh, if you have a valid H1b until october 2010, then don't transfer your case.
I am not sure about the interview on who needs to attend.

Hi Rupesh,

If I am asked to do medical, is it necessary that I have to get it done in US or I can get it done in India. Also is it necessary to get the medical done only when asked or can I get it done now and send it since I have a file number already. I am here in US till this month end.

do it when they ask because they will send you instructions. Besides, you don't want your medical to expire too early.
YOu can do it anywhere in the world but with a CIC approved doctor.

Thanks Rupesh

One final one.

PCC:
I have not sent the PCC for India and FBI clearence for US. I got the PCC for India from the consulate in December 2008 and also got the FBI clearence in Nov 2008. I heard that it is valid for one year in one of the forum discussion. Can I send them now or do I wait for them to ask for the same.

Proof of Funds:
I had also not sent the proof of funds when I applied. Can I send them or do I need to wait for them to ask.

i am not sure how the pre-nov , post-feb applications work. I guess you should have sent everything since you applied under the regular process. Since, you should have sent everything with your application, I presume, that it is best to collect everything now and send it now (especially before your PCC expires). Don't send it one by one, but get everything that you did not send earlier, and send it now.

What do others think?
