Giving IELTS exam again while the current application is in the pool

Hi. I gave my IELTS exam in mid-September and got L-8.5, R-7.5, W-6.5, S-7.5. My CRS score is going 465 under the CEC category. Is it acceptable to put in the application in the pool and give IELTS one more time just to improve scores? Also, if I score less, will I be able to use my old scores?

Yes, u can give IELTS while in the pool and update it later, and yes, u can use your highest result but not combine between different tests.
