Hi. Thank you so much. But what if she still haven't got the decision for her OWP application on or before the last week of May? Does she needs to start processing her visitor extension by then? Because we assume we have to submit her application 30 days before it expires, right?

Also, your Inland Spousal Application was approved 10 months from the day you submitted it? Is that what it means by Landed?

When she gets her work permit, she will no longer be a visitor and so there's no need to extend her (at that point non existent) visitor status. The work permit will provide her with status for the duration of its validity (usually two years).

Since you can expect she'll get her OWP long before July, there's nothing additional you need to do.

No, you can submit it by and including the last day of her legal status. 30 days is just a guideline, but not mandatory at all. The OWP application will also give her implied status so either way, nothing to worry about.

Yes, 10 months.

Thank you so much. Tho i still have another question.. Because on her extension permit there's a remark that says she should also give her medical report within 30 days. But like what i've mentioned on this thread, she's been ask already to provide medical report for her PR application and she will be having her medical exam this week.

My question is, does she need to submit a separate copy of her medical report for her approved visitor extension? If yes, how?

Not sure about that as I've never dealt with extensions myself. I'm sure some more senior members will have answers, though.

Yes, she needs to submit a copy of the medical for both the extension and the PR app. There should be a spot in her account to submit the medical for the extension app. Otherwise, send a Webform.

Applied by mail so probably i'll be using the Web form. Thank you so much, canuck_in_uk and np08!
