No. Any transfer made from an account other than yours will result in the transfer getting rejected.Hello,

UBI= Union Bank of India then yes all nationalised bank and most cooperative bank are able to transfer GIC. My advice use Scotia bank instead of ICICI for opening your GIC account as there are very few ICICI branches.
