Bdw , I had applied for GIC account on 3rd of July , haven't heard from Scotia Bank since then.

No reply from them until yet

I had applied on 2nd july and yesterday received my login details to scotiabank secure email but did not received the account details,they said they will provide in couple of days..

No help following up for account details, this is what they will reply :

I applied on 15th June'2013 and got account details on 28th june'2013. I got so happy that Scotia Bank actually processes it in 10 working days as per the process. So I took it easy and transfered funds on 8th july'2013 but I do not have any response till date.

It takes 5 to 6 days to recieve gic certificate after sending the funds and dont forget to send the copy of acknowledgement right after you transfer the funds to the bank.
