nooo. its just mandate from canadian embassy... even in general case.. u need to pay atleast 1st sem fee to apply for visa

Friend just sanctioned educational loan for complete education and no GIC.. then too got visa..

he filled his file under general plus im sure he must have paid atleast 1 sem fee to college to get acceptance letter plus loan letter... no gic required for general filing ..

yes.. He got his loan sanctioned and paid 1st sem fees.. so acceptance + loan letter!!!
NO GIC required for general filing.. thats good way to go for.. as 1st sem fees is considerably lower than GIC amount!
