Can i tranfer the funds from my brothers bank account.
He has an account in TD canada trust (it is a canadian bank account).

the money has to go from an Indian Bank and that 2 ur account personal account.
Your brother can transfer cash in your account and then you can transfer it to scotia.

3rd call to assistant of President of scotia bank #001-877-700-0043. if still they are not worried.
4th send email to mail.president @ scotiabank.com if still not then

Still waiting for GIC certificate applied on 28th june 2013. till when we all have to wait any idea?
 
I have applied for GIC on 19th june and still not got any reply.. No account details .. nothing.. just got an automated confirmation msg that they have recieved the documents.. I sent a follow up email after waiting for so long , on 12th july.. and i got the same automated message.. Can anybody help me>

Hi, i have opened my GIC account on 26May,2013. But the information got automatically deleted due to secure mail id. Now when i am trying to connect with the Scotia bank, they are not responding my mails. I have send two follow up mails on July 4,2013 but they have not send me the account number which they promise to send in 5 working days.
GIC deadline is 26July,2013. I am stuck in between the process. Also they dont have any contact nos. communication is through mail only.
Does anyone have faced the similar issue.

No, Emails stay saved in the inbox, Check it again, on first screen it say's you have no unread message or empty somthing but if you will click on the Inbox at left side then you will see all received email. TRY IT , for sure you will get.

Its clearly mentioned on the website that the mail will get deleted automatically after 30 days from the day of receipt of information.

Fee Transferred- 8th July
GIC Received- 18th July
 
Didn't got my gic yet ,, applied on 5th july
