GIC Delay, From how long you are waiting ?

I Deposited My 10,100 CAD on 4th Of June 2013.
I ve still not received the GIC Certificate.
How much long are they gonna take..?

i think u may have to contact those bank persons its month crossed after ur payment

I ve contacted the bank..
All they gave me was a phone number which i ve tried like a million times.
Only a dummy computer talks there asking me to leave my message after a beep.
Totally Absurd...!!!
All i can do now is WAIT WAIT N WAIT

I have applied for GIC account on 27th June and not yet opened.. I am planning to deposit 10000 CAD to bank on 10th july.

I am afraid when I wll be getting receipt of payment..

please help

Guys who didnt received Gic account details after 5 business days should put a followup mail to newaccount@scotiabank.com. with subject follow up- Scotia student gic program last name, first name, d.0 b, attach a copy of application form in the mail. they will respond back in 24 hrs.

And those who have depositrd the funds to scotiabank gic account should wait 5 business days and put a followup mail with same subject as I mentioned above, but attach a copy of wiretransfer transaction Receipt. you will get your gic certificate within 48 hrs.

Recieved account details on June 13
Transferred amount on 27th June but still not recieved the GIC.

on which date you funded your GIC account???

IT already worked for me. I got my account details on 24th June, funded it on 26 June morning waited 4 working days as 29,30 June, 1 july was nonworking day I sent followup mail on 3th july evening. and got the certificate on 4th july evening.

Hi,
I submitted my GIC application on june 25 i have not received any resonse yet. As per the application guide i sent a follow up email to them again on july 2,but they haven't reply back to my email.

I also contacted them, but they phone is always reaching voice mail. Please any one guide me with this issue. I am struck with my visa process due to this.

I submitted the application before 10 business days.

Please help ASAP
