GIC Certificate same as Investment Directions Confirmation?

Hello everyone,

I made my GIC payment around 11 days ago. Since then, I have received an "Investment Directions Confirmation" but not a GIC Certificate.

Is it the same thing and can I use the directions confirmation for my study permit/temp visa?

Yes thats the GIC Certificate. No need to include any other document for GIC. That investment direction should have your name, account number, amount and date.
