GIC Application

Hi guys,

I applied for GIC account on 11/06/2013. I mailed the pdf according to the guidelines mentioned but haven't received any reply from them till now Juz got an auto reply that day. By when should i be expecting the GIC account details so that i could transfer the money.

Secondly, I would be going to University of Saskatchewan for masters in mechanical. Would GIC be helpful in getting the visa or should i take a loan of 10000CAD because the GIC form says that its for SPP and AICC colleges. Have paid my first year tution fee to the university.

Please help me out.

Wait for a couple days more, and them send them an email.

GIC is fine for University as well, no need to take loan.

you'll get in 10 working days
if not,
contact your bank if SCOTIABANK revived your funds oe not.
Sometimes they hold the money n charge extra $14

Even im going for U of S- M.engg. Shall I go for a bank loan? or GIC is mandatory! I know its not... will it be good enough just with Tuition fees + Edu loan for $20000CAD? Please clarify...

it generally takes 5 business days to get reply from them. I got my account number in 7 working days.
Call toll free numbr provided in auto email. they r very helpful.
