GIC - Account details not received yet

Hi ,

i had applied for GIC account on 11th june 2013 but still waiting for my account details . Please guide whether i should remind them by email or should i wait for another 2 days.

Have anybody goin through the same problem so far. please comment

I have sent the follow up mail to Scotia bank regarding the Application status .. and see we both got the Account details.
This is called the Power of Punjab

I have applied for GIC on 13th June 2013. I didn't got any reply. Should i wait according to you guys or write a followup email. As they have mentioned not to write followup mail. What to do? please suggest me...

Well ,,,,even in my case they did respond to my first GIC application so I called them and placed an offline message also i have re-send the application again with the same subject ....you can try out with this because after this within 2 days i got my gic account details...

Generally this time all applicant are getting Account detail at the 10th working day after applying for GIC. So i think you must right a follow up mail but not sure about it or you can wait for 1-2 days

If you haven't received the account details within 5 business days, you can write a followup mail to bank as it is mentioned already in scotiabank gic application guide. Nothing to fear about, they will send the account details within a day.
