Getting SIN from a different province.

Hi folks,
My DLI is located in Alberta but I will be staying in Ontario for sometime after arriving in Canada. Can I get my SIN issues from ON? Also, will I have any problems if i get my SIN from a province where I won't be living in near future? Thanks

There's no mention of province on my SIN document so I don't think it matters which province you get it from.
