Getting SIN from a different province.

Hi folks,
My DLI is located in Alberta but I will be staying in Ontario for sometime after arriving in Canada. Can I get my SIN issues from ON? Also, will I have any problems if i get my SIN from a province where I won't be living in near future? Thanks

There's no mention of province on my SIN document so I don't think it matters which province you get it from.

Hi I want to know as I am working in BC Vancouver on LMIA closed work permit, my wife will come on SOWP, so is it mandatory she will arrive in Vancouver and after getting her SOWP from airport and then need to take SIN and other documents from BC as well, as she is getting an work offer from another province, So, is she can also get SIN or other documents like Bank account and health card or ID card from other province instead of BC, Also, will I have any problems or my spouse if she get SIN from a province where I won't be living in near future, not sure? Thanks
