Getting police certificate from Mexico help

Hi all, my husband received his AOR and right away was asked to submit Police certificates. But on the CIC website it says "We will send you a letter requesting a police certificates after you send your application for permanent residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a police certificate."
We haven't gotten the letter yet, just the request on his online application with a deadline.
And when we get that "letter" do they mean we have to bring it when he gets his fingerprints?
Any help would be awesome!!

I think the ''letter'' is the request online. We had the same request. If you receive your ''letter'' online you will not received them by mail.

Any news yet?? My husband is Mexican and I am sponsoring him. We applied April 2018. So far we recieved AOR May 9, medical request May 14, SA May 18 and medical was received June 3. Nothing since. People say 3-4 months of silence other people say 60 days.
