Hello,

Does it makes a difference if we get PCC from police station or Passport office?
What's recommended?

You better take it from the passport office..
And for instance if you’ve made your passport recently, they will be having your info right there and you’ll be issued with the pcc then and there within an hour or so...

Okay .But the problem is that i recently got married and my wife hasn't changed the address on any of her identity documents including her passport. The Delhi police website mentions that if you recently got married and the present address doesn't matches with your passport or any identity document then you can attach the marriage certificate and your spouse passport copy with the actual present address whereas there is no such provision if you apply from the passport office. Please advise.

I am so sorry cuz I don’t have any information about the Delhi police working.
However,I’m from Hyderabad, and when I contacted my local PS they said it’s better I do it through pp office only...and they were right..I think the address in your wife’s pp and Aadhar card and all such stuff is either her parents address or her address before the marriage...so it really should have any problem if she stays with you at a new address and requests a PCC with the address in all her documents...
