Getting married after PPR

Hi there,
I need some suggestions!
When we create express entry profile it asks "Will your spouse or common-law partner come with you to Canada?" that means we've right to include or not to include spouse in it right?
I'm legally married and my wife lives in India. She has spouse dependent open work permit but she never came to Canada. Now I'm planning to apply for PR but I don't want to include her as secondary applicant because she never wanna come here. How safe it is to apply without spouse? I asked some immigrant consultants and advised me to be more careful while doing so. Do you think CIC may suspect something else or is it good to go without worrying?
And to be honest I do not wanna misrepresent my application to CIC.

yes because they want you to be honest. it's better to put her on list dependant maybe in the future she wants to come or if you have kids to and if you want to sponsor them if you do not add them.be hard

another question is since I plan to get married in March 2017, then do I need to get a new passport for my wife with updated marital status and spouse name added before I include her passport in CIC????

right now the passport she has is based on single martial status

Your marriage certificate is proof enough. I did not update my passport and my application was approved.

ITA Dec 22
EAPR on Jan 10

got married on Jan 13 and raised CSE on Jan 16. Should there be a problem. I don't want my score to be recalculated. Please Reply

I want to know the amount of time IRCC took to respond back after raising the CSE! Also, the different forms that IRCC requested for the spouse!

They did not ask for POF. But I provided it anyway in a Letter of Explanation.

Hello Everyone,

I went through this entire thread. Really insightful comments. I received my APR on 31st January under CEC. I was planning to get married in somewhere fall this year (Sep-Dec 2017). Based on the timeline, I might receive my PPR anywhere from May-August (touchwood). I was wondering if I inform CIC about my plans to get married in few months after PPR request, will they entertain my request? Or would I be allowed only one month within that period I will have to get married and complete all the docuemntation? As per my status, I am currently work on my PGWP in Canada. Thanks for all your inputs. I really appreciate your valuable advice.
