I have been living in Canada for 6 years now. My fiance and I sent an application under family sponsorship class 8 months ago. I have been on restricted work permit for the past few years. I went on maternity leave last year and after that I was not hired back by my employer, because there was no work, even for Canadians. I am looking for work with an LMO right now, but I was wondering if my application for work permit can be refused, since I cannot prove that after it expires I will go back home, since my application for Permanent Resident was sent. Does anybody have any experience with this kind of situation?
