GED (Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate)

I am wanting to know if the GED (Ontario High School Equivalency) can be used as proof of language.

I completed my grade 11 english but did not get my high school diploma. I have since done my GED which states Ontario High School Equavalency. My first language is English.

Any advice would be helpful
