Hi guys,
Woke up today with the great news. it’s PPR!!

After a ghost update yesterday, today very early in the morning, the ready for visa email was there sitting in my mailbox.

I had all the reasons to think, and I firmly believed, that I’d fallen under SS. Actually I still don’t know whether we fell or not. My wife and I are police officers and although I'm not from the armed forces, my corporation carries the name “military” on it.

Never ordered CBSA nor CSIS notes. My 1st set of GCMS notes ordered in November, and received in December, showed redacted information about the status of security. Reason why I thought I was in SS.

Total time was 8 months and 10 days. Maybe it was just the delay/ backlog in the office.

can someone explain me the difference between CBSA and CSIS?

does our profile first go to CSIS and once cleared from it gets transferred to CBSA?

in my CBSA notes received it is showing as comprehensive SS with priority normal.

The primary organization is CBSA, They recommend it to other security agencies according to their analysis. There are 3-4 types which includes international crimes and espoinage etc.

I am in SS since 25th Oct, Usually it takes 8-12 Months so i am expecting August.

Sorry guys I haven't been on here in a while. Just to let you all know that I got my PPR last month and CoPR earlier this month.

Here's my timeline before you ask.

AOR: 24th May 2017
Meds passed: 6th June 2017
R7 passed: 14th June 2017
Eligibility passed: 18th December 2017
Info sharing: 28th January 2018 (no idea why it took so long)
SS initiated: 14th March 2018
ADR of schedule A: 24th April 2018, submitted on 26th April 2018
SS started: 25th June 2018
Re-med and RPRF request: 1st February 2019
Red-meds passed: 15th February 2019
PPR: 24th February 2019
CoPR: 8th March 2019

How did u know both of the starting date and intiation date of ur ss? What is the difference between them?

Sign in here, Just got confirmed that all my family (3) is under comprehensive SS. Hope it can be cleaned soon. Figures crossed.
