I applied with my spouse. In December 16th, 2024, both of our file was sent to CBSA for comprehensive screeing. But fortunately, my spouse's case is resolved on January 8th, 2025 and her background is completed on Jan 8th, 2025. Whereas, mine still progrssing. Is it a normal scenario in conprehensive screeing where accompanying applicant get clearence so quickly.

Yes it's completely normal. I'm surprised your dependent's one got cleared so soon, since, they literally take 1 - 2 years for things like these. Hopefully, your one gets cleared too mate!
Yeah, I'm surprised too her case got cleared so quivkly. Hopefully some kind of miracle will happen in my case too
When was your application submitted? And did you know when it started being in progress at cbsa
I applied on March 28th, 2024. As per GCMS note, both of our file were sent to CBSA on 18th December, 2024. On tracker, my spouse's background verification completed on Jan 8th, 2025.
My background check is stuck from 2023/12/04. I'm from Iran. Any Idea?

You should be patient for the next 6 months or raise a mandamus.
Two choices cause you are from middle east, that makes your case slowest.
Same here from September 2023.
The average time for comprehensive screening is mostly 6 to 18 months and can take more than 18 months. Your status shows "Received By CBSA", it looks like CBSA didn't start processing. Hope you will get some updates soon.
This note is too old. I think you ordered it one year ago. If you order a new one, you will get updated information.
so the status at the place it says received by cbsa would change to processing by cbsa?
Also but above the status says in progress?
