application was submitted march 2024 and background check october 2024

On 2024/11/04 - CBSA has received ur case but hasnt started any processing yet. u willl have to wait for ur status to be changed in progress by cbsa

Mine started October 26 2023. I got a ghost update on 23rd January 2025 but nothing since then. Did you get any ghost update recently?

My application starts from Oct 10, 2023. Ghost update on Jan 24, 2025.

bgc started from January 2024. Confirmed from MP, every thing has passed except background. It has been one year. No update other than extending the medical test.

I’m from Nigeria but i don’t know why I’m in comprehensive check cos i don’t have any military background. I don’t know if they also sent my file to intelligence. How do you know that please

No military, China.
I don't know what they are doing and what kind of check they are processing. I just contact MP every four months since I am inland. To my best knowledge, no way to speed up. Just wait.

Be patient. My security has been in progress with CBSA since April 2024, and I submitted my application in March 2023. I know many applicants with the same timeline.
