Then consider the option of Writ of mandamus. It’s about 1500$ for first stage and 4000$ in total, if you got spare money and want to wait the shortest.Hi @walnorez, no they are from October 2022. The other activities are from 03/2020.
I didn't document my timeline, but its typical, they asked for ADR twice, last one was in Feb, 20. My AOR, Oct. 2020, FSW Outland.
These are all the activities related to security and they were the same around two months ago.

Please let me know if that makes any sense, I looked online and I didn't see people with hold on their file.
Thanks,
@MD1990FSW you said last activity was ADR for Schedule A on 20 Feb. Is that Correct? If Yes, then it might take 1-2 months to get next update based on latest ADR.Hi @walnorez, no they are from October 2022. The other activities are from 03/2020.
Hi @Takita, I meant the last security activity in the screenshots that I posted. Have you seen any application with hold on them?@MD1990FSW you said last activity was ADR for Schedule A on 20 Feb. Is that Correct? If Yes, then it might take 1-2 months to get next update based on latest ADR.

Hi @ma2021,That's very helpful, thank you, I really appreciate it.
Hi! Yes, that’s confirmation that your application is undergoing additional background checks and what this forum refers to as comprehensive security screening. Check your CBSA notes to determine when your security screening start date is. It takes anywhere from 3 months to over a year after that for it to process. There’s nothing that you can do to expedite this but once you pass this step, it’s almost guaranteed your application will be finalized. Good luck! I am in the same boat since October 2022 (coming up on 6 months).Hi @ma2021,
I got the ATIP notes from CSIS and all what it says is that the security screening case is still in progress and the information has been exempted. Is this enough to say its comprehensive?
Thanks,
Thank you, the CBSA date is also Oct. 2022.Hi! Have you considered filing a Writ of Mandamus with the courts? 2.5 years is unreasonable delay and not within IRCC’s advertised average processing times for PR applicants. My security screening in process for last 2.5 years
What is a delay, see https://bit.ly/3NxbRCvHave you considered filing a Writ of Mandamus with the courts? 2.5 years is unreasonable delay and not within IRCC’s advertised average processing times for PR applicants.
nope not yet.Have you considered filing a Writ of Mandamus with the courts? 2.5 years is unreasonable delay and not within IRCC’s advertised average processing times for PR applicants.
The BGC will change twice. First when your criminality is in progress, which is fairly early in the application, and then will go back to not applicable. It will then again change to in progress, after eligibility has been passed and when security screening is in progress. This is usually at the end of the application processing.Hello @legalfalcon my background check status changed from in process/ progress to Not Applicable. What does that mean ?
