Thanks for being optimistic and giving hope , however based on other cases , i fear the c-check may last much more longer ( i saw people waiting for 2-3 years ) .
Just medical extension gave me some hope that maybe my c-check is done but now i found out that would not mean anything about any progress in my application.

For Mandamus, the recommended time is 18 months after aor but you may apply after 12 months depending on case. You will need talk to a lawyer.

no there was nothing mentioned. I don't have any political background or any services in policing, no criminal record.

I am applying for cbsa notes as well. lets see what they have to say.

Is there anyone who is in a34 check and was completed before 9 months ?
because as far as i know it may take 9-18 months for cbsa to conclude

I see, I'm currently waiting for GCMS notes as well (it's almost 29 days now) so I guess it'll take another week or so. My background check started in February and there's no update since. It's just absurd that they put people in comprehensive security check without any apparent reason. On top of it, it seems like they don't really start working on it for first 8-9 months.

Does your GCMS notes mention anything about CSIS check as well? I heard that they usually send the security check to CBSA and CSIS. So, I applied notes from both of those institutions as well.
