You can request CSIS about getting an update of your case as you ask IRCC (on the basis of Privacy Act). They send you a letter explaining what they have done. They explained in their letter they sent to me that they already completed security screen and an advise had been sent to CBSA and IRCC.
I hope this information helps you.
Best of luck.

How long did csis take to complete your SS?

For those who are currently in CBSA security screening AND have CSIS security screening completed, you can mail to CBSA office presenting your case, it would help to get their attention and close your case.

I did this and got PPR 2 weeks after. I feel like they have your case completed but conveniently forget to send confirmation to IRCC as they don't have a well designed system to manage all case files.

Write to:
Case Processing Officer
Security Screening Process for Permanent Residence Application
Canada Border Services Agency

Then mail to:
Canada Border Services Agency
Ottawa, ON
K1A 0L8
(check for mailing address here: https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/contact/menu-eng.html)

If you want to go bigger, you can email to the Minister of Public Safety.

I'm not 100% sure writing to CBSA would help to close your security screening process. It could just happened to me with coincidental timing. Best of luck to everyone.

Wow Congrats! In my case, I applied for new TRV and according to my MP's office they might have expedite my application at CBSA's as they have to perform same SS for TRV. However, for TRV the SS has a strict timeline where as PR's SS has not timeline.
