Guys, my file is stuck in security screening.
Here are some data about my case:
AOR 12 October 2016
BG2 started on 24 January 2017
CSIS letter says: on 24 January they started screening, on 24 April they finished it and sent report to CBSA and IRCC.
People say in the forum that security screening takes 9 to 18 months.
My question on you:
How much longer do you guys think I have to wait for PPR (max and min processing)?
Can anyone help me?
Thank you in advance.

I phoned CIC, the lady told me they started the security check on my husband on March 22nd, and it is still pending. The security check on myself was just started on July 24th. No idea why they did not do security check at the same time for us? This means I have wait at least another 4 months if everything goes smoothly:(

CSIS Security screening completed on 24 April 2017.

got my gcma notes from CSIS. It says my request was completed on June 7. Now waiting for CBSA gcma notes. The original requester to CSIS is CBSA. So, I guess all depends on the CBSA.

Could you please share how you got to CSIS and CBSA? Did you send ATIP/GCMS requests to CSIS and CBSA with your Express Entry application number and information?

I have not got the CBSA one yet. But they confirmed that they got my request with a new request number. I just provided my UCI number with my gcms note request for both CSIS and CBSA. both them will send you a regular mail not email. CSIS has sent me the doc inside a CD.

I called CBSA today. The agent who I was talking with told me that CBSA is not involved in security screening. They are the enforcement organization. They do not conduct security screening. She recommended me to contact with IRCC for a status update. I said I already contacted IRCC multiple times and every time I was told that CBSA is conducting a security check. Then the agent told me: "Sir, CBSA is not involved in this matter. I cannot provide you an information which I do not have!". She was very convincing.
The Number I called is (902) 454 3725.
What do you say?

Matt I'm sure you're pretty close to getting a PPR. Our cases were pretty similar and We were both stuck in this freakin pnp secure outstanding group. I'd given up all the hopes of getting my ppr before a year but on aug 18th I did get the golden email. My aor was aug 26th and urs is oct 12 so I'd recommend just hang in there and theres no point in contacting these teams/guys and get even more depressed with their responses. Trust me I've been there done that all but nothing really helps.

I agree with you. Unless a minister or mp personally asks CIC to process it our application processing will take time.

Thank you, buddy. It is a tremendous support that I truly appreciate. I hope you're right. Congratulations for finally being a landed immigrant. :)

That's what I would also like to know. No military, no government, not travels, EU citizen. I have no idea what is my crime.
Though, on my last notes Secure outstanding was blanked, but call centre agent said he still could see that. I'm expecting new set of notes in 10 days, I'll post any changes
Hi Blanka,
From your comments I think you and I were born at the same ex country. If thats the case I think we are being hold because we come from the country that recently came out of the war ( 20 years are not enough)

same way you apply GCMS note for CIC. just select CSIS/CBSA instead of CIC. But that would not make the processing faster. Get ready for atleast a year of processing time.

Well at least I will be doing something instead of just waiting...
I ordered GCMS notes from getgcms.com. So I don't see any options of choosing CSIS/CBSA....
Can you please tell me the website?

Thank you!
