Hi,

In our GCMS notes the Paris office comments are in French. I have figured out the comments but not able to understand a couple of codes. Anyone familiar with FOSS related stuff have a clue?

FOSS vu et recherches integrees faites = Requerant => RAS Repondante =>

Translation
FOSS seen and integrated research done = Applicant => RAS Sponsor =>

What does the RAS stand for?

Also in the travel section it says " Liste de voyages => voyage en Libye (2013 et 2014) transmis a AS pour dec REC

List of travels => traveled to Libya (2013 and 2014) File transmitted to (AS)? for what? (dec REC)?

And does all this mean background check is in progress? It doesn't say its in progress in ECAS or MyCIC

Thanks merci beaucoup :p

Thank you! What about S19(1)?
I am hoping Profiler will answer this since he is better versed in so I am bumping this. If he does not respond by Monday I will send him an e-mail.

After reading the notes one more time I found the number S.16(1)(c) next to FEES. Hope someone knows what those numbers are.

I just receive my GCMS note, I am july 2015 applicant and CIC says background check is in progress from Sep 2016 , in my GCMS notes, there is one thing which i am not able to understand, can any one have idea about it.

Paper File

Office : Centrallize intake office
File #: XXXXXXXXX
Location : PS Pend

I don't know what is the meaning of "Pend" , does it means pending and if its yes so its pending due to background check.

Any one suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Due dates are the dates by which that specific activity is supposed to get completed, if it'sd 19th Feb for your security then it should be completed by that time in normal case.

Dear Kamy,

I received my GCMS notes two months ago. My Eligibility, Medical and criminality showed passed. Security not started yet, according to GCMS note. The due date in the first page of the note which was on 31.10.2016. However, since then there is no change of the status of my application according to ECAS. My medical will expire on 09.02.2017. Shall I order another GCMS note or the visa office my delay my application processing due to repeated GCMS request. Is there any chance VO may extend the validity of my medical for another 6 months as I have passed all criteria, except security. Comments from other expert members are highly appreciated. I am a PNP (Manitoba) applicant and my VO is Hongkong.

Thanks and regards.

GCMS notes have no negative/positive impact on your application. If your medical expires before decision is made then you will be asked to take the medical exam again.

Ok I recieved my GCMS notes today
Here are a few questions based on the explanation on the first page:
Assessents
Eligibility: passed
Security: not started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentatin:
Other Reqs:
Final:

The due date shows as: 2017/04/15 everywhere and on the last few pages (where the notes are) I see a random s.15(1) and s.19(1) on the top right of the page. The s.15(1) shows on two pages near the bottom of the file and the s.19(1) shows up once.
According to the first post, s.15(1) means my security is done? then why does it show as not started?
and what is s.19(1)?
Finally, does due date mean I should get PPR before then?

Thank you all.
What does that mean?
Did you find what S.19(1) means? I have it too and can't find any info about it. plus I have S.16(1)(c) as well on one page.

According to the original post 15.1 is good on the security section as it shows it's complete. Not too sure about the rest but I'm sure they are bound to crop up at some stage within the notes.

Some people say that if you order you notes too soon you'll see many of these numbers (as the officers are still doing the analysis and their comments aren't final and official yet), so the more time you wait the better it is in that sense.
