Hey guys!
We ordered our gcms notes over a month ago. The 30 day mark was last wednesday and they still havent arrived.

Has anyone else had this problem? They were either late or never received them at all?

I have friends who have ordered them and they always got them right on time or 1 week early.
 
Yes, it happens occasionally. Nothing to worry about, though I agree that the wait sucks :)

Did you request it by email and asked them to send it to you by email? We also had a delay once, I sent them an email, explaining when we sent them the request, quoted the receipt number, and we received the notes a day after that.

I hope you receive yours soon.
 
Is there a clear procedure to ordering these?

I always find bits of information everywhere on how to do it, but never the full thing.

Yeah we made sure to put down the email and double checked it all to make sure they were sending it by email

maybe I will try sending them an email today to ask about it and quote my receipt number too.

yes, quite clear, you need to fill out 2 specific forms that u can get on the cic website, have the applicant and sponsor sign the forms where indicated and they have to be sent in by someone in Canada with a Canadian address and the payment has to be made before sending them, so you can send a copy of the receipt with it.

although as of may 14, you can no longer email or fax them, they have to be sent by regular mail, which kind of sucks!

I got mine in 3 weeks !
 
It will be 30 days on May 10.

Still waiting. We applied for them via email.

hopefully they come on time.

I just sent an email to them asking about our notes why they haven't arrived yet, so hopefully they will either contact us tomorrow or we will receive the notes tomorrow.

im a little frustrated, not a single thing has ever come on time for us since we started this process over a year ago.

Have the same problem. It will be 30 days tomorrow for me. Please update us if they send a reply to your email enquiring about it, I might just have to do that as well.

hmm maybe they are backed up than, if im not the only one with this problem!
ill let u know if they answer my email or what happens with it.
 
I'm on week 5. Still nothing.
 
So I got an email back from the notes place, and they said that my file was put onto a cd and sent via regular mail to me on april 30, and that it will take about 1-2 weeks to arrive.

soo clearly they didn't listen to me when I asked for it via EMAIL!.

but at least I know its on its way I guess, just more waiting.

this could be what's happening with a few of you on here as well.
