Hi Guys!

Anyone ordered the GCMS note and have a similar situation please advise or help me please because I applied for my PR under the CEC program under NOC 7231 (CNC Machinist) last years in February 2014 and received my AOR on March 7th 2014 until this date I haven't hear anything from the CPP-O yet , I'm quite frustrating about my application being rejected based on PASS/FAIL. I have ordered my GCMS note and my application showing that : review required. If anyone are able to explain to me about my note situation that would be great, and I really appreciated that.

It is not to bad to me.

The VO seems agree that your job duties are fine, however he/she has question about the length of time you actually worked. As long as you can attach more document to proof your "ONE-Year" work experience, I think your risk is low.

Just some personal thoughts, waiting for more seniors.

Good luck.

Hi sherry. H

I appreciated your helped! However I already submitted my T4 and pay stubs along with my application. I expect they give me a chance to prove that I have 1 years work experience.

Thanks.

During the qualifying year, did you take a trip to Thailand? If you did, how long did you stay there? For what purpose?

Hi Zareef, :)

Yes, During the qualify year I went to Thailand to visit my family back there for 2 months. From July to August 27th 2013. I was planning to take one of my daughter from Thailand to study here as well. I'm not certain if VO officer will reject my application because of that period.

Thank you.

Hi rar,

I applied for under this CEC programs on Feb 22 2014 last year and received my AOR on March 27, 2014. The period of employment according to my letter of Employment and my T4 is from September 4th 2012 to a present date (Lock in) date which is March 06, 2014. I have work full time base on 40hrs/week since September 4th 2012. I only hope that they will give me a fair chance to prove that I have gain my work more than 1 year. I'm worry about the VO indicated that I was away from my employment and it is unclear.

Thanks,

So from September 4 2012 to March 6 2014, you will have roughly 18 months of full time employment. And even if you were in Thailand for 2 months, you still have 16 months of employment. I think the VO is concerned because there is no date on your LOE so he is unable to confirm that you did work for 18 months. He knows that you started on 4th September 2012 but is unsure of the ending date as it is not written on the LOE. Were those 2 months paid? Did you take any other vacations besides those 2 months?
I think sending an updated and dated LOE should clarify things for VO. As long as you have left enough cushion besides one year of employment to cover for your holidays/vacations, I think you would be okay. Its just my opinion. Let's see what others have to say.

Dear rar, :)
I like your explanation which make my picture much more clear. I can absolutely send the new LOE with date to the CIC. However beside those 2 months I did not take any holiday and I my employer had paid me in a month (August) in advance plus 2 weeks vacation pay during I was in Thailand. Yes I will wait until other experts as well. I appreciated your help.

Peter.
