I requested for GCMS online on July 3. At 30 days I sent them an email asking about my request, they replied next day saying my file is being finalized and will be released shortly. At 45 days I sent an email again asking about it, 5 days has past and no reply from them.

By the way, my CEC application was MER'ed on June 3 and still no PPR yet.

What might be going on with my GCMS request?

No, that's not normal. It never took more than 31 calendar days for me to get my notes. Email them again probably?

It may have something to do with the strike.

Wondering if it's related to how you order the notes (via the access to information act where you pay $5 or via the privacy act where it is free - but probably slower?). Just a wild guess...

I ordered my first set of notes in June under Access to Information. Got it in 31 days. Second one was the free Privacy Act one in July, and that was also received in 31 days.

Hi, if your case is under finalization,i.e almost at the end, they may not send you GCMS notes, same as mine.Even I didnt receive it in July, mean while I received all further requests as RPRF, MR..then passport request..& now I have done my landing too.So dont worry, you may be getting further requests from them soon.Hope this helps.
Thanks.

As an update to my own thread, they responded to my email saying there's a backlog. And soon after that they sent me the GCMS notes. Guess it's just taking longer now.

It has been more than 2 months since you completed your medicals. Did you find anything in ur gcms notes as why the delay for PPR?
