Anyone here who managed to/knows how to request GCMS client notes?
Under ATIP one can only get the GCMS case notes (related to a specific file/application).

Checked with ATIP dept. at CIC via email but radio silence from their side. :(

Well, As mentioned, for the client notes. I already have the case notes for the application I was having with them. On their website there is no way you can ask for GCMS client notes. It has to be related to some application (Imm, PR Card, Citizenship, etc.).
Client notes would contain information and notes that were made on your overall client file in GCMS. My case notes for my recent application(client details section) indicates for example that my client file had been updated on a date probably due to interaction via CSE, but of I cannot see what was updated in the case notes.

I understand. What exact information would you like to obtain from CIC? Are you looking for your notes to check about your PR renewal or something or what?
Maybe CIC does not disclose every single detail when you order the notes from ATIP.

I want to get to see all client notes made by imm. officers/call centre agents as well as whatever client-level correspondence had been logged.

yes, it might be correct that they don't disclose GCMS client notes. That's exactly why I am wondering if someone else has had any experience with it.

Whatever a person gets from ATIP notes is what it is (limited information)

Anything more in detail might not be allowed under privacy/access to information act.

I asked the question, I found the answer: I managed to obtain my GCMS client notes.

I just filled out the typical ATIP online application and instead of providing an application/case number I just put my UCI and then filled out the comments section explaining I want my GCMS client notes, not case notes linked to a particular application.
The result came in a tabular form containing notes, date, agent.

It was interesting to observe, as others noted on the forum, that some notes resulting from calls to CIC call centre found their way there instead of case notes.
