Hi All,

Will be there any chance of dropping down the CRS score to 360?? I am waiting since 8 months.

Could some one suggest on this, should I wait or quit?

IN the last 15 months , the scores never went below 450 and after looking at the trends i dont think it will go down so soon.. I suggest you to try PNP.

I dont believe CRS will ever come that low. Your best option is to look for a province to nominate you or if you are in Canada look for a Job to get the extra 600 points.

Good Luck

Thanks,

Is there any guarantee in getting PNP if I apply. ?? please suggest how to apply.
you have not exactly given away much information like what sort of skill or job but start looking at eligibilty first http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/

Vennie,

No guarantees :'(

Keep trying different options. Going by the historical EE data, the CRS 450 barrier will remain in force.

It's no speculation. The facts figures demonstrate. ;)

Have you maximized your language scores? If not maximizing your scores might get you to a CRS of 400.

Probably will never happen. Maybe 420 when EE will become main immigration tool to pick up skilled workers. I don't think we can expect any changes this year though.

That's interesting. Can you point me to some sources on this info? Do you know what might be some possible changes, like giving more points for Canadian experience maybe?

As per the trend, the score for direct ITA has never gone down below 450. IELTS of the primary applicant plays a very important role in improving CRS score, therefore I would suggest that the primary applicant should target CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777). You can try these values in the calculators below and see for yourself how much of a difference IELTS makes to your CRS score. If you get 400+, you stand a chance to get PT NOI from Ontario

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

You can get ITA in 3 different ways
1) Direct ITA - To get a direct ITA (based on the current trend), your CRS should be at least 470 and above (but let's assume it may come down a bit, so a safer bet would be 460)
2) PNP - If your score is below 470 and you get a provincial nomination, it will add 600 points to your existing score which will make you eligible to receive an ITA in the next round of invitation. For PNPs check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp.
3) Job Offer - If your score is below 470 and you have an LMIA backed job offer, it will add 600 points to your existing score which will make you eligible to receive an ITA in the next round of invitation.
