From this report it seems they're going to ease residency requirement to obtain citizenship for students. But I didn't read anything about making it easier to obtain PR?

Thanks for the links. My guess is giving students more points is a likely change. In the first link it was also mentioned that they can reduce the points awarded for getting a job offer. We'll just have to wait and see.

reducing points for LMIA is currently just a suggestion, but changes for international students is almost certainly going to happen :) ;)

The CRS will most likely go only HIGHER - number of immigrants continue to rise, quota due to refugees continue to decrease...

I would strongly suggest going for PNP - many are not aware of them and many can still apply this year.

you have not exactly given away much information like what sort of skill or job but start looking at eligibilty first http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/
Do PNPs screen candidates from EE pool themselves or do we need to apply proactively for any of them? I know that Ontario identify themselves. Any province where we need to apply separately?

This says in 2016 Canada intends to welcome 300,000 new PRs including 10,000 refugees,

Why dont we see that reflection in EE ?
