Hi, I just got my PR via Provincial Nominee Family Stream program. My question is about funds when entering Canada. SInce I am sponsored by a family member do I still have to prove that I have the appropriate funds upon entering the country? I am getting mixed messages so please clerify if you know
Thanks a bunch

I think you do unless you have a job offer here.. You need to have fund to enter canada unless you have a job offer from canada... basically they want to make sure will have income and wont be llying in the street

If you already got your PR, you must have received CPR or COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residency). Didn't you get a letter along with your CPR which explains how to land? There is a section there re: PROOF OF SUFFICIENT FUNDS FOR SETTLEMENT. I'm just pasting the last line of that section:

"Members of Family Class who have been sponsored by a relative in Canada are not required to provide proof of funds for settlement."

@Rossei Thanks for the answer infact this a question that boaders me alot but with this i will go and check this on my COPR and work with it.
but is also important we dont enter Canada empty handed as the we will need some of this funds to run around transportation and so on.
