Funds when entering Canada

Hi, I just got my PR via Provincial Nominee Family Stream program. My question is about funds when entering Canada. SInce I am sponsored by a family member do I still have to prove that I have the appropriate funds upon entering the country? I am getting mixed messages so please clerify if you know

On the website it doesnt say you have to show a specific amount of funds when entering Canada. BTW how long did it take to get the Provincial Nominee Certificate and then for PR?

I applied for my program (which doesn't exist anymore) in November of 2008. I got my certificate in October 2010 and my PR papers September 2011.

Oh ok so you applied under the Alberta Nominee program. Yeah thats close now. I am wondering about the SK family stream program timeline. Anyway thanks,
