Hello,

I got two saving accounts -

1. Account A - in which my salary gets credit every month.
2. Account B - regular saving account.

I am going to get the funds through my relatives (1 or 2 people), resulting in getting the gift deed prepared.

My questions are -

A. In which account shall I make this deposit happened?
B. Other than gift deed, which documents I will be requiring.

Thanks
K

My personal opinion is it does not matter which account it goes into. As long as you have the gift deed and the corresponding transaction details (cheque, bank statement, etc.) highlighting the transaction on both ends and explaing the same in your LOE.

Hi guys, I have a question. When I'm showing proof of funds do I need to present more than the minimum amount that they request since I have to consider the fees and other expenses of the process? Or just show proof of the minimum amount they require? I have more than what they ask for to pay for the fees and everything, but the other expenses will be covered with my income from my current job and not with the amount stated on my savings account. In the letter of explanation I will show statements of my savings, chequing from two different banks and explain that the amount on my savings is to cover the minimum required plus express entry fees for me and my husband but that the other expenses (medicals and translations of documents) will be covered with our income. If someone can enlighten me with your experience I would be more than grateful. Thank you!!

Hi Seniors

In our case only 25 % of the funds we have shown are in fixed deposits rest are available in cash state but the issue is that we have submitted only stamped ,signed bank statements and fixed deposit( bank statements have bank address details, telephone numbers, date of opening the account) they are not on the bank letter head and neither have we shared any bank letter stating that we dont have any dues and loans on our name in our country

Please advice if we should raise a case specific inquiry for the same or we should wait for the further processing and let them ask for the same

Looking forward for a quick reply
Thanks
Kanika

As long as you can show you have the minimum amount when you submit your application, you're fine. By the time you submit the application, medicals, translations, etc should be paid already. Keep in mind though, you still need the minimum funds when you land.
