Hello everyone.

I want to apply to a Certificate/Diploma course in Counseling in a Canadian university and hoping to stay there afterwards.
The courses I like are in Alberta and Manitoba.

Most importantly,I don't have the money to cover my tuition or living expenses.
The scholarships that I have found are not certain to get and the amounts are very little.
Because I'm not a Canadian citizen I cannot get a loan from the Government of Canada.
Is there any other kind of funding that I can get? A loan maybe but from Canada?
I don't have a US or Canadian co-signer either.

I really want to get into a program like that and later work in Canada.
What's an International student to do that wants to study and devote themselves to living in Canada but doesn't have the money?
Canada is a friendly country, can they help someone with a really intense desire to get trained there and live there?

Thanks for your input soberdeepak but:

1. I am not from India.
2. I am looking for a legitimate and serious answer.

I am from Europe and I already have a Bachelor's in Psychology from a US university,if that can provide some more information about me.

If you already have a degree in Psychology from a US university and have relevant work experience in your chosen field it will be easier to apply as a skilled worker.

if you go for masters rather then Diploma, you may get some sort of scholarship. But it will be not enough for tuition fees and living cost for sure.

Also after 6 month you can get work permit for 20 hrs, so you can earn and learn

Thank you.

Yes,I basically wanted to earn a Certificate first for financial reasons only, since that would be the shortest period studying.I guess scholarships aren't offered for degrees less than a Master's.And event then,a scholarship would not cover all my expenses.
I guess studying in Canada is on the back burner for me.
