Though they changed the Ecas status to IN PROCESS on say 11 Oct 2010, they actually started reviewing a case say like on 3rd oct 2010. goal and ripon, did you get your medical from the date they started reviewing your file or the day they changed your Ecas to IN PROCESS?

Hi All,

Can we submit our passports to Singapore visa office and receive visas at the same day? I am still waiting for my passport request. The problem is that I will visit to my country (Vietnam) in this Christmas and already booked a ticket. It is a little dangerous for me if I submit my passport when I receive PPR and if Singapore returns my passports late, I will be in big trouble.

Not really sure if you can receive your visa on the same day but in the letter that I received today (PPR), it states that Visa will be issued in approximately 2 weeks time.
