How long does it normally take to get the 2nd AOR? It seems it depends very much on the visa office, right?

I received my 2nd AOR in April just 10days after. Yes it depends on visa office.

i sent my docs on the 6th of April to Buffalo, NY - no news yet.

Guys - I know that a bank letter confirming the type and balance should be original, however do we need to notarize copies of the bank statements? thanks

Hi Guys...

I have sent my full set of documents to Buffalo NY they received it April 28 (sent thru Fedex)... but I cannot check my status on ECAS, it will not load with my immigration file number and last name, etc...

How do I check my status with the file number given to me by Nova Scotio CIO???

Just to keep you posted recieved AOR this yesterday morning 1/5/10 from London CHC ( By Letter) dated 28th April 2010, with a new file number and heaps of info saying they hope to process in 12 months but if we have heard nothing within 8 months to contact them.....

My timeline is below:

Submitted to CIO : 28th Sept 09
Aor from NS : 22nd Jan 10
Submitted Doc to CHC London: 6th April 10
AOR Rec: 28th April 10

I sent in the full document set along with my RFPR fee on the 7th of April. Also I got my AOR on the same day with new file number. I visited the visa office in-person. Ecas says "Received by visa office" waiting for IN PROGRESS. Any idea of time line for the Ecas to change for Colombo CIC?

The letter is issued by bank on their letter-head with their stamp is enough!

Does anyone know that how visa office posts the 2nd AOR letter for the representatives (lawyers) who are in Canada? Do they post it via normal post which might take weeks?

I do not get any reply that my documents are received ... i am very worry what to do..

Tzakur, for some CHC it takes quite a longer time to confirm receipt of full docs. I am also in the same shoes but at a different CHC.
Were your files sent to London or are they going to be processed in Islamabad?

Well i dont know that where exactly it will be processed, at Islamabad or at London, but i hvae sent it at Islamabad...
