my e-cas status changed 'RECIEVED BY VISA OFFICE' on 3rd may. I got Ist AOR on 20 March from CIO. my visa office is New Delhi. cheers..

i sent my docs on the 6th of April to Buffalo, NY - no news yet.

Guys - I know that a bank letter confirming the type and balance should be original, however do we need to notarize copies of the bank statements? thanks

(Bank balance certificate and statements are not required to notarize,,,, just get the orignal from bank and ask to stamp it)

Hi!

I sent in the full document set along with my RFPR fee on the 7th of April. Also I got my AOR on the same day with new file number. I visited the visa office in-person. Ecas says "Received by visa office" waiting for IN PROGRESS. Any idea of time line for the Ecas to change for Colombo CIC?

u r smart,,, i ve been planing for same to send RPRF with my full documents to avoid delay in processing because once ur docs r assessed they ask u 2 pay RPRF and it may take 1-2 weeks more to send them DD... so i suggest guys to send RPRF along w/their application in this case VO will straight away process application.

@Arkhan try using both of your last names, i had the same problem also try prob 10 days after you received your 2nd AOR...I'm doing mine through the venezuelan embassy so timing is prob different...Great luck to all of us!!!

in my case, on the same day of my email (AOR) i have checked on website filling details with B0....CIC canada mentioned that WE HAVE RECIEVED YOUR APPLICATION ON 22ND FEB...... ETC.. sometimes it might take upto 1week..dont worry..if u got aor.
