I M a May applicant,1st AOR received on 30thSept 2010 and now preparing for full docs submission.
I am a principal applicant and my question is CHC New Delhi asks post secondary education certificates for the education.In case of my wife,she doesnt have 10th & 12th Certi but marksheets only,She has got double diploma and those certies i have.
So guys what do u think,i should get the 10th & 12th Certi for her.For the same i need to go back to India and get it.Currently i am residing in Abu Dhabi.
Those who have sent full docs,need to give advise pl.

Does these mark sheets say "certificate cum mark sheet" or something like that?
Also, post secondary means after 12th. I have send my 10th and 12th certificates but it may not be required. Please post in the forum to get the answer.

Anybody who is taking PCC from Bangalore and who is not having address of Bangalore on Passport. ??

I have Jalandhar address on my passport and i applied PCC from Bangalore through Passport Seva Kendera. I applied on 6th Dec 2010 , BUt till now even after 16 days my local police has not received it from Commisioner's office.

When I am going at commisioner office they are saying they have sent it. When i go to Local police station they are saying they didn't received it.


Both parties say me to check other place when i go to them..

It seems they are making fool of me. Any idea how to get it done. Is it something related to Money ...

Has anybody else faced this problem ??? And how you resolved it ??

Please Please help me on this.

Its always related to money !! I faced similar problem at Chennai.

So my advice is , go to the police station under whose jurisdiction your house comes. Find out who is in charge of PP verification etc ( they usually have a 1 or 2 member team dedicated for the crime records buearu in every polce station ) . PLEAD with him, asking for HELP and tell its urgent and you are ready to fuilfil formalities.
It might cost u about 500 bucks.
My advise to those seeking PCC in India is to approach the Commisioner of Police office ( or the highest police authority in your town ) and apply with them directly. It costs more, but you get it promptly !
For eg, Chennai passport office charges about 400Rs for each PCC. But they take a month !
COP in Chennai, charge 1000rs ( they give a receipt, published charges), and you get it in 4 working days !
