Hi All,
It is very disappointing to see the increase in waiting period for another 3 months.....ND VO has not yet started with file transfer dates of April/May/June so the applicants with timelines like us will definitely be delayed.........
Can seniors help me and guide me....like most of us, we were hoping to be in Canada in 2011 but that is not the possibility any more..... While we are waiting for our turn, it is possible to plan a family for a couple..?........if suppose we get our medicals during the pregnancy, are we get rejected if we declare the lady is pregnant or what is the alternative procedure to include that child which is not yet born into our application?...
If you receive your medical when the wife is pregnenat, you can carry on with the medical execpt the X-ray which is not recommented at that stage. So you can take the X-ray when the baby is born along with the medical of the new born baby. This can delay a bit of processing time, but there is no chances of rejection for being pregnant. You must need to submit application to add the details of the new born baby along with documents like birth certificate, passport of the baby etc etc.
We are also not able to decide on how much feasible it is too immediately start planning for a baby once you land in Canada....i think it will give unnecessary pressure or burden because of single person earning etc...
Its more a personal choice, having a baby may make a bit more expensive, but I dont think that can make a big difference. You have another choice like the principal applicant can reach canada first and the accompanying family can join later after the principle applicant find a job in canda which makes life easier if you are concerned about finding a job or having short of fund in hand.
Does anyone of you have similar situation or thoughts ?.......can you guys share your thoughts and provide guidance........It is very difficult for us to wait till that long without planning a family due to health issues..........
Yes, We are planning a kid in canada. If you have your kid born in canada the kid can become a canadian citizen by birth so that you dont need to worry about applying for a canadian citizenship for the kid if you are planning a citizenship. But thats not a big deal. The processing can get delayed if the wife pregnant because you need to wait till the baby is born and then you need to send application form to add the new born baby along with all required documents which seems like further delay to reach canada.
Thanks for your help.......
