Dear All,

Need to clear confusion on PCC.

Today i checked CHC ND checklist . It say that if your application is received at CIO on or after June 26,2010, you are strongly encourage to submit your PCC with your application to the CIO . If you are not able to attach with application , still you can send application to CIO . But whenever it will be required by Visa Office you need to submit it.

If i am not wrong then CHC ND Checklist said that no need to submit PCC with Application ? Right ?

So what to do ? As i am planning for new application should i send Original PCC to CIO ? What about the Validity of PCC ? Confused ?

Please Help.

Regards,

Mayank

It is better if you send it along with your application....if they have asked for it....

Dear laklak,

This information is found on CHC ND Check list at CIC website . Do you think that they changed it recently ?

@ Taraks,

You are absolutely right, application with AOR should get priority and doesn't justify delay.

I liked your all points and they stand good reason to discuss but, none of them is justified for the applications having AEO. Applicants having AEO have job ready as soon as they land. The working pattern of CHC, ND has become miserable like this from month of May only.... Before that it was really good.

Hi Guys,

This is just for everyone's information.I met two officials of chandigarh canadian embassy yesterday. As per them, embassy will be closed on 26th and 27th dec.apart from the christmas weekend. They also told me that many officers save their leave,to be with their families in canada for x-mas.Although chandigarh embassy does not deal with skilled worker immigration,i was informed that the timeline now is almost 12 months. So keep cool & enjoy ur stay in India. As it is,there is a lot of struggle awaiting us incanada.Specially for people who r well settled here in India,we may not appreciate the difficult situation in canada.

yes most of them are off to canada for at least 20 days for x'mas...so we can't expect any thing from 20th dec till 10th jan....12 months is the period from the time file sent to cic nova scotia...which is now become a general time line..but things will move fast after that because they have to complete the yearly quota...for firrst quarter till march...but iam expecting some gud news till 20th dec for march afile xfer guys at least.....cheers...arun

@ tarakrs,

i confirmed from my consultant the last medial received was of a nurse,on 23 nov and application was filed in Dec 2009.

the exact vacation dates last year at CHC ND were from 22dec to 10jan.

Acc to them we can hope to see updations before 20th DEC.

last things they said that nowadays when they are sending case specific inquiry, CHCND is asking for IMM 5476 (use of a reperesentative form)which they asked in my case too when my consultant mailed them in August to know the file status.we mailed them on 10th aug and received reply after 2-3weeks.

@gurneet

good work man... thanks

yes, if you have a representative on your application and if you do case specific enquiry by postal mail then you need to submit IMM5476.

for those who yet to get medicals ........n frustrated with slow pace of CHC .........my lawyer confirmed that almost all Visa offices have reached their target for 2010............CHC will pump its speed in JAN 2011

Lets' see mine is going to be 12 months from the time Nova Scotia received my application on 6th December

Hi Subash,
Don't worry my application was received by NSC on 27 Nov 2009 and already got 1 year, but still I am waiting for medicals....so timeline 6-12M. is only in general....be cool and hopefull ...all the best.

Hi gauri
