well once when i was applying for the immigration and they had told me that they count the experience ony in the field u have applied . like me a radiologist and even id i work under family phycian i will not be counted . though both are doctors but noc code is different
well let seniors comment
by the way is your occupation still in 29 list
if so u can show additional experience or wait to score more in ielts or learn french

i recived refusal letter.
it was very disapoining, stating that they are not counting my 2 yr of exp. as that was not matching with the NOC, they have considered only exp which is as per NOC which is of 18-20 months, on that ground they have given me 65points; which should be 67-69points accourding to me.

i also had summited the RPRF along with my file in april, so they said i will recieve back that amount.

guys help!!!!

and let me know that my fight is over or still i can reapproach for PR.

I dont have immigration consultant.

its really disapnting to knw that u missed chance just by 1 point............

first find out tht 2 yrs experience which u have shown , is it in the ministrial list of noc or not....... ? if it is not thn i think u will have to give a tough fight, if it is there thn u may request thm to consider ur case...........

as it is written that for counting points , work expernces of all the NOCs whether it is in the 38 list or not is accounted for provided it is in the ministrial list of NOCs......... hope this will help u

all ur work exprncs must fall under ministrl occupation list or NOC or otherwise ur exprnces will not be accounted for.........if possible consult gud cnsultant or lawyer.....to appeal....

Hi fellas,

I applied for FSW in mid December, 2010 to CIO, Nova Scotia.

Received 1st AOR on 11th Feb, 2010.

Submitted all documents to New Delhi VO on 11th June.

They sent me 2nd AOR on 18th June.

Now my eCAS status is showing "Received by VO".

software developer - 10 months.
break of 4 months -(pregnancy)
computer lecturer - august 2009 till date.

(my exp. is continous and where their is break i had already written above.)

pls help me count my exp. points. as my status is RBVO.

@ kushu , well pl provide all details including ur i lets age, any relationships in canada and partners educational qualification and all the details. well what i did i went to wwics and healthy way and just went and said that i want to immigrate to canada they explained me the full procedure and the break up of my points and my chances . without any charge thinking that they got another client , well u can do the same as well..
and seniors will also help u out with the points .

Once again, I am so sorry for your case and it is really disappointing to see the reason for refusal
Jairam, are you talking of 3-4 years exp under same NOC where they considered only half of it. OR were there two work exp under NOC1 and NOC 2 and they considered only one. What were the NOCS that you applied under
Can you please share your exp details. I sincerely hope there are grounds to contest, but we need more information from you to analyze it more objectively.

Normally people apply under only 1 NOC even though they have experience under two different NOCs because of such issues.

But there should be some way or other to deal this situation. Please meet a good canadian lawyer who will let you know on the alternatives.

Me and my husband are post graduate , i am M.C.A and My Husband is M.B.A(Manager in reputed MNC(6 YRS EXP.),We both are below 30 years and my IELTS Score is L-6.5,R-5.5,W-6.5,S-6.5.
I Have presented 2 international seminars(photos and certificate sent to cic with docs)

pls help in calculation of exp. points as i want to clear some douts.

If your Software development experience falls in 0213 then you would get some points. I understand you have applied under 4131 and your 4131 related exp is only for 2 and half years.... So, Ideally you would get only 17 points for exp but, as I said, if your software development related job duties falls in 0213 then you would get addition points fro exp.

As far as language ability points are concerned you'll get 12 points.

Your total score cud be,

Age 10
Language 12
Education 25
Work Exp. 17 - 21
Adaptability 5

Total score: 69 - 73

you don't need to worry.... It seems that you'll be fine even if they don't consider your development exp.
