Ankit, Is CHC, New Delhi going by date of applying PR in CIC, Sydney.

Other than 2 or so, nobody in April has any update for last 4-5 weeks or do you think there are many members who submitted docs in April but not a member of this forum like Madhumati?

I do not thinik initial date to CIO is of much relevance, the process takes on an average 6-8 months so in my opinion it is just matter of time when we will see lot of updates for people on this thread

Hi guys,

I was away from the thread for some days...there is some talk going on about verification calls, I got the call from 41782000 number. I am not sure if they always call from this number but you can surely keep a lookout for this number. In my case they called me on my cell phone.

One more clarification, there was no verification call to any of my employers, either past or present. So it is not necessary that they will always call your employers. If your documents are genuine and you have given enough supporting proofs they will send medicals without any verification.

They did not call me to verify anything, since my wilfe is pregnant, they only wanted to know that if they issue visas to us will we be able to land before the birth of our child? I told them that our doctor has advised us not to get the X-Ray done, so they told me that they are going to hold my case till Feb 2011 and will issue new medical instructions to me at that time. I have already paid my RPRF because CHC asked me to pay it now so that they are sure that I am still interested in pursuing my case.

Nothing for me too.
Still the same. 130 days for me.

Guys, one thing I have observed recently is that most status updates that are reported on the Forum are Decision Made. It makes me wonder if they are completing the In process cases first before taking any new cases under process or may be probably files are under Process already and they change the status only when the send the Meds and PPR

For this thread also, see people who got in process status are almost near completion, couple of them got visa, almost all of them get PPR
