One query, did you submit the documents in March or April, how come the 2nd AOR came so late. Please check the date on the letter in which 2nd AOR was mentioned, that is the actual date and not when you received the letter.

Please don't put a hold in your case, it will delay the processing further. You have 6 months which is too long. Let it go as the VO thinks and during medicals, you can put a note with the doctor.

My consultant sent the docs to CHC in the last week of March. I am not sure about the date on which they were delivered to CHC because my consultant is in Canada. The AOR letter is dated 14th April. I'll speak to my consultant tonight and find out what he has to say.

Manish bhai can you please tell me what you did in your case. If I keep the X-Ray of my wife pending and send it after the baby's birth, can I add my baby to my application at that time or will I have to sponsor the baby once we land in Canada?

no point in sending email to CHC, they will send you the same reply as usual.

Please wait for 15-20 days more.

NOW IT IS CONFIRMED THAT UR DOCUMENTS WERE SUBMITTED ON APRIL 2, 2010 AND NOT MARCH, SO IT IS REALLY GREAT TO SEE APRIL APPLICATIONS ARE STARTED TO BE WORKED ON BY CHC.

Hello Guys,

My status changed to In Process today, the details are as follows:

We received your application for permanent residence on October 7, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 7, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on December 15, 2009. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on July 22, 2010.

However I am not sure if this is a good news for me or bad, I had already written to my consultant to ask CHC to put my case on hold because my wife is pregnant and we are expecting our baby in February. The doctor has advised us not to go for an X-Ray. So I need your advice people, if I get my medicals now will I necessarily have to go for medicals or can I still ask them to issue the medicals after we have our baby.

Please advise !!

I think the ND VO is processing applications based on their receipt of applications from Nova Scotia. ie December 15th for simsinghgill. When the application is picked up for review, they would check if the supporting documents are submitted. If so they would take it up for processing otherwise next person in the queue would be selected. I believe it might be in this way they follow processing.

Guys who got e-case "In Process" can you check when was your transfer of applications done? Please share with us the date too.... So that we can check if the processing is done in the way i mentioned.

Guys.... CHC, ND has updated ECAS for sure....

They changed my address back to my Indian address but ECAS is still Received by VO

I wish all of you for some change in your ECAS.... mine did not change today

Yea..tats rite, its nt correct way to analyze the progress...my document transfer date is 3rd Feb, current status is "IN PROCESS"...

@ Simon,

you should send case specific inquiry as 90 days is over in your case, no harm in it...i also observed that ur current status is "In Process", is it the Medical for what you planning to send them inquiry? is your Visa Office CHC-ND? m asking this, coz few of the applicant, like Mpadhya, Shubhash n me got medicals immediatly after our status got changed to In process...

i suppose if ur visa office differs then it might take some time to receive the medicals....whatever it is, u send across ur query to them, no harm doing tat...

In my case INPROCESS on 16th July and CHC had issued medical on 28th June.

To update my information , my medical,RPRF and passports are delivered yesterday to CHC ..Now let's see how long CHC will take to stamp maple leaf on my passport ...
