FULL DOCS TO CHC ND IN MARCH 2010

Hi Members,

I have been following the posts and seemslike impatience creeping in.

Well the only option we have is "patience"

I have submitted my docs on March 9 and the AOR is dated 25th March. There is still no sign of my status changing to in process. At least there are cases here whose status has changed and have received V calls, and further luckier ones with Medical calls.

Just contemplating on describing the degree of patience i have to achieve before anything positive turns for me. Keep posting guys....your advice and encouragement is needed at the point of time.....-Sidhu

What city your AEO belong to? is it toronto? n wats the offered job about?

How abt you? When did u send in your docs and what is your current status?

Web Designer in Mississauga.... I sent docs in mid april n current status is Received by VO.... got 2nd AOR on 21 April 10

its pretty frustrating...i think i need to put in my energies towards my job and daily routine than waiting on this....kinda given up hope and this heat is not helping either....dang!

thats true.... Once u hv had in Canadian Winter, Indian heat kills u.... how long were u there for?

searched it online through a placement agency...took me a while....and then had to get it approved....did not know about the approval process while i was looking for it....

Did CIC ever inquire to employer in Tornoto who provided u AEO? In my case they did once..... See I think the prb here is, CHC might have doubt that if u never been to Canada then how come u got AEO? so they might have send a request to local CIC office in Canada to inquire about AEO in Canada..... ND can't do that due to time difference...... Yet u dont worry.... it'll be fiine

I am also in US .. never been to canada and got job there . My AEO was approved without an issue, but Hrdc did called my employer for general verification.

I dont think its a big deal getting a job in Canada esp. when you are in US.

My employer was never verified when i sent in the initial documents to the central intake unit. I attached the approved HRDC letter with the documents i sent in.

You mean that a verification from New Delhi regarding me job is taking the time in my case?

@Simon - yes, i agree. I have returned from US since then as i was on an F1 (academic student ) visa and the economy being down doesn't call for that many employment opportunities especially with a temporary status in states. Lucky enough to get employment in Canada.

It will be interesting to find how different these two countries will be .........
